License Terms

When purchasing an item from NativeExpress, you are granted access to the materials included in the package you select at checkout. Depending on the package, these may include:

  • Source code
  • Notion template
  • Figma template

The materials you receive are those listed for your chosen package at the time of purchase. Not every package includes every item; where these License Terms refer to "the materials", they mean the materials included in your purchase.

Please read the following details carefully to understand our license terms for all materials included in your purchase.

Precedence

These License Terms govern your use of all materials delivered with a NativeExpress purchase. Where they conflict with our Terms of Service or any other policy on this website in respect of those materials, these License Terms prevail.

License Overview

  1. NativeExpress retains ownership of all materials included in your purchase but grants usage rights under the following terms and conditions.

  2. The License grants you an ongoing, non-exclusive, worldwide license to make use of all provided materials to create an end product.

  3. You are licensed to use the provided materials to create multiple end products for yourself or for multiple clients, and the end product may or may not be sold. Resellers and freelancers are allowed to purchase on their client's behalf and charge for their services.

Permitted Uses

Things you are allowed to do with the materials:

  • Create multiple end products using any or all of the provided materials
  • Sell any number of end products built using the provided materials
  • Modify any of the materials for your own projects
  • Use the materials in both personal and commercial projects, under every package we sell
  • Use the materials for client projects
  • Customize the Notion template and Figma designs for your specific needs
  • Create derivative designs based on the Figma template for your end products
  • Adapt the Notion template structure for your projects

Restrictions

Things you are not allowed to do with the materials:

  • Create a product that sells or redistributes any of the provided materials (code, Notion template, or Figma template)
  • Redistribute any of the materials without explicit permission from NativeExpress
  • Share your license, or give access to the materials, to any individual or company outside the licensed entity
  • Give access to the materials to more developers within the licensed entity than the seats included in your package
  • Include the materials in open source projects without prior permission
  • Sell or distribute the materials as part of a development kit or template collection
  • Use the materials in a product that competes directly with NativeExpress
  • Resell or redistribute the Notion template or Figma template as standalone products
  • Share access to the original Notion template or Figma files with unlicensed users

Seats and License Validation

  • Your license is validated through your purchase credentials
  • One license is valid for use by one legal entity: the person or company named at purchase
  • Seats. Your license covers a defined number of developers ("seats"): the number stated for the package you purchased. Where a package does not state a number, the license covers up to 5 developers within the licensed entity.
  • Within that seat allowance, the licensee's employees and contractors may use the materials on the licensed entity's projects, including projects carried out for its clients
  • Commercial use is included in every package. No package limits you to non-commercial use, and the number of end products and clients is never limited by your seat count
  • If your team grows beyond your seat allowance, additional seats or a larger package must be purchased
  • Delivering an end product built with the materials to a client is not distribution, does not consume a seat, and does not require an additional license; the client receives the end product, not a license to the underlying materials
  • Access to the materials included in your purchase is tied to your license

Support and Updates

  • Your license includes access to updates for all purchased materials
  • Technical support is provided according to the terms of your purchase
  • Access to the materials is provided through secure means specified at purchase
  • Updates to any of the materials will be made available through the designated platforms

Terms Modification

We reserve the right to modify these license terms at any time. Any changes will not be retroactive and will not affect existing licenses.
